We are gearing up to release the Masma private Beta on Web App first (with mobile responsiveness), and then to the iOS App Store and Google Play Store in 2024 Q1.
For the initial release, while Masma will be closed Beta, users will need to be invited to Masma to access the app.
If a user searches for and finds Masma in either of the mobile app stores, they will be directed to sign-up for the waitlist.
We have decided to undertake this strategy for 3 core reasons:
Controlled Release
The invite-only approach allows us to release the app publicly while maintaining control over growth.
We want to ensure that we have a chance to iron out critical bugs and work through the unknowns that will inevitably arise.
User Experience
Given that our product is social in nature, the user experience is exponentially better when a user’s friends and family are already on-board.
Once Masma is released on Web App and also on the app store, the early adopters who signed up for the waitlist will be invited to create their accounts and the current Beta users will be automatically migrated across to the public version of Masma.
All users will have the ability to invite their friends and family to join Masma for early incentives
Hype
Adopting an invite-only strategy is a great way for us to generate hype and excitement.
The exclusivity and rewards we offer are given to early adopters as they have the opportunity to excite their friends and family by gifting them access to Masma.
The public app store release will be conducted in 3 stages.
We initially began with a waitlist sign-up process which you can access .
We're introducing an access-code referral program for you to invite friends, family, and your community to join Masma.
During the 52-week invite only Beta release, every access-code you share that is activated will earn you points calculated on an off-chain system. These points will be displayed on a global leaderboard for everyone to see.
Masma will set aside X% of our tokenomics for airdrops and referral rewards. Based on the total registered points, we'll divide the tokens among users for a fair share of the airdrop allocation.
